Glimpsing the heart of Universe inside the heart of God
The 13.7 billion year old evolving story of Universe coupled with belief in God affirms the oneness of creation. This reality urges each of us to be mystics, contemplatives whose common awe will transform the human community. Science and technology gift us with “how-tos” but only within each soul can comprehensive compassion and unitive consciousness be known, embraced and lived. Timely theologies and spiritualities support contemplatives as “how-tos” shift into joyful asceticism and prophetic action. This retreat year at FC will provide forums for holistic exploration of these supports for contemporary mystics.
